  • As Embedded Software Test / Verification Engineer you will support the creation of the test plan and the test strategy with associated tools and processes
  • The Embedded Software Verification and Test Engineer will support design, implementation and validation of the test bench at the sub-assembly and assembly level including electronics and embedded software components
  • You will be required to perform embedded software requirement analysis and translate those into test cases as the Software Verification / Test Engineer
  • You will also implement and execute automated/semi-automated test procedures for embedded software unit, integration and system tests
  • Identify and report defects as well as generate test reports
  • As the embedded Software Verification / Test Engineer you will ensure test coverage for “normal path” as well as for error cases and unexpected events
  • You will be expected to ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, test procedures and test results



  • 2yrs+ experience in embedded hardware and software development and/or testing in a regulated industry (med device, automotive, aerospace, rail, nuclear)
  • degree in a relevant discipline; computer science, electronics, electrical engineering or related
  • Experienced in verification and validation of low-level embedded software, including digital signal processing, low level microcontroller driver (peripherals, sensors i.e. magnetic, resistive sensors)
  • Candidate must be able to translate requirements into test cases, and test cases into automated test scripts
  • Programming in C (C++ or C# a plus) or scripting (CAPL, Python or similar)
  • Ideally Experience with CAN, UART, SPI, I2C communication buses
  • Ideally Experience with the Vector Informatik testing equipment CANoe, VectorCAST and vTEST-Studio would be a great plus
  • Experience with real-time multithreaded embedded firmware (e.g. TI-RTOS, FreeRTOS or similar)
  • At ease with Eclipse (Code Composer Studio) & Altium Designer
