International Sales Manager – Urology, Gynaecology & Patient Care

I have been in the recruitment industry since January 2014 starting as an Apprentice working within the Healthcare sector. I was offered the opportunity 6 months into my apprenticeship to start a new cold desk recruiting locum nurses and ODP’s into private hospitals across the UK. After doing this for two and a half years, I felt like had hit a glass ceiling and wanted more from my job than just booking shifts… I found myself to become too comfortable and decided to jump out of the comfort zone and do something that is a little more commercial and take a leap in to the next step of my career.

4th July 2016, I started the best chapter of my life with Projectus Consulting. 11months into the job, I became the first person in the companies history to sell our most premium retained service, ‘Projectus Edge’ and was promoted to Senior Consultant. I won best new comer of the year 2016, best business developer of the year 2017 where I was promoted to Transatlantic Business Development Manager, helping Projectus break into the North American Market. In 2018 I was promoted again to International Sales Manager of team Uro-Care (My niche became Urology and my team cover patient care and critical care markets across EMEA&US). I also won Best Deal of the Year 2018 & Best business developer of the year 2018. This year (2019) was my 3rd Presidents club in a row as well.

In my personal life, I am a keen martial artist and recreational combat sports athlete. I have had a MMA fight for cancer research in which I raised £1000 for charity and had 2 Muay Thai Interclub Fights. I run my own Mind-Coaching business ‘www.IronMind-Coaching.com’ and work side by side with my Thai Boxing coach to help develop the best mindset possible for everyone at our club in Potters Bar as well as their fitness and martial arts ability (WMT Thai Boxing). Along side the mind coaching, I am a huge advocate for Mental Health Awareness and have been on 2 podcasts talking about mindset and overcoming mental health problems. Finally, the first person to join me on Uro-Care and I have started our own podcast “Talking Med-Tech” where we share medical device related stories and interview people within this incredible industry of Medical Technology.
