Software Engineer / Full Stack Developer / Web Application Developer

Location; Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina

Core Tasks

  • As the Software engineer you will be responsible to design and develop a state-of-the-art Medical technology which plays a fundamental part in helping clinicians and doctors treat patients’ effectively and can ultimately save lives
  • The technology you will be helping to design is for medical image diagnostic review and general medical information viewer applications
  • As a Software Engineer you will be working with a team of highly skilled engineers who are passionate about technology, creating advanced software applications in an agile environment
  • You will be actively contributing your knowledge of modern software development techniques, and technology on diverse platforms for a market-leading global player within their sector
  • As a Full Stack developer, you will have the capacity within the full life cycle, utilising HTML, CSS and JavaScript, Angular 4, C# / .Net, ASP.Net, SQLServer etc
  • This is a role which is both client-facing yet remains hands-on in a lead development capacity


Must-have Experience:

  • 2-5yrs professional experience developing web client software
  • Strong experience with HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript programming
  • C# / .NET applications development experience
  • Experience developing web applications using Angular 2 or higher
  • Knowledge of databases and SQL programming


Ideal experience includes:

  • Familiarity and experience with ASP.NET Core
  • RESTful web services development within the .NET framework is required.
  • Experience using Git version control is a plus
  • Experience working within Agile / Scrum based development processes
  • Experience in medical imaging and diagnostic review software, PACS systems and knowledge of DICOM and other related medical imaging standards and protocols
