Job Description & responsibilities of the Cardiology Implementation Consultant:

  • Instruct customers in the operation and maintenance of the system
  • Serve as company liaison with customer on clinical and technical matters for assigned projects
  • Resolve clinical/technical problems, analyse and evaluate issues that may occur during implementation
  • Test, benchmark and verify that the implement system is error free and functional prior to delivery to the customer
  • Applications training for customers
  • Echo reporting configuration and training for customers
  • Haemo, Cath Reporting and BCIS data entry configuration and training for customers.
  • Workflow customisation and design to hospital customers
  • Support sales efforts for indirect sales including product demonstrations
  • Work closely with customers to benchmark, design, plan and implement optimal Haemodynamic and Cardiac Clinical Reporting solutions
  • Support the installation, servicing and repair of complex clinical equipment and systems
  • Check and approve operational quality of system equipment prior to clinical use

 

 

Additional responsibilities of the Cardiology Implementation Consultant:

  • Participate in the company Cardiology User Group meetings and forums
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Diagnostic Cardiology procedures
  • Support design of new Cardiology Procedure Types/sub-types on the companie's Cardiology solution, to promote business to existing and new customers

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Relevant qualifications with 6+ years of Cardiac Physiology experience
  • Hands on experience of Echo reporting is essential
  • BSE accreditation would be advantageous
  • Hands on experience of Haemodynamic monitoring procedures
  • EP and Device Management experience would be advantageous
  • Previous use of the companies Cardiology Reporting solution would be advantageous

 

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong Cardiac Physiology background, sound understanding of cardiology department workflow
  • Knowledge of higher level medical communication protocols (i.e. DICOM/HL7)
  • Familiarity of document/registry standards such as NICOR: HRUK, BCIS
  • Technical aptitude to quickly and independently learn new systems and analyse a wide variety of issues in the clinical healthcare space
  • Ability to work within teams with good interpersonal, organisational and self-management skills

 

PC/Equipment:

  • Experience with Windows XP, Word, Excel

 

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

  • General office environment: travel may be required
  • Flexibility in working hours to support business needs
